Meditation

Dhyana (which is usually translated as Meditation ) is a Sanskrit word derived from the root words 'dhi' meaning the mind and 'yana' means 'moving or going(think) of'.  Meditation is an ancient practice that is believed to have originated in India several thousand years ago. Different types of Meditations such as Spiritual Meditation , Mindful Meditation, Focused Meditation, Chanting Meditation etc., are being practiced in every community. It is an effective way to relieve stress and paves a way for the foundation of overcoming dissatisfaction, intolerance and keeps us living happily. A daily meditation practice can have significant benefits for mental and physical health. Meditation is a means of transforming the mind and a calm seeing of the true nature of things. One uses a mindfulness technique or focuses the mind on a particular object, thought, or activity to train attention and awareness and achieve a mentally clear, emotionally calm, and stable state. 

FORGIVENESS

Forgiveness is one of the divine qualities of Human beings such as fearlessness, purity of mind, penance, non-violence, truthfulness, compassion, gentleness, patience, devoid of ego, austerity, charity, etc., Sometimes we hurt others and sometimes we are hurt. In both cases, we cannot avoid mental suffering. Usually, it is not always easy to forgive someone especially if great harm or hurt is caused by that person. The ego is the one that hurts and gets hurt. It plays an important role in personal conflicts and in hurting others or becoming hurt by them in the process. Whenever we commit a mistake, we must be humble enough to keep our ego aside and admit it. Knowing when we are wrong and admitting our mistake,  is a sign of maturity and wisdom. Only courageous people can do this by not only admitting their mistakes but also beg forgiveness if they realize that they have done wrong to others and accept open-heartedly whatever the consequences would be to face. Worship - The Real Sadhana

All the religions in the world have prescribed one way or the other for the realization of God--the Immaterial Absolute. They have also given higher ideals of life and most of the people have begun to follow them. As the time went on, they began to peep into other sides as well, because the scythe of time brought about these changes in them.  The environment of the living world began to attract them and the necessities of life compelled them to take the other course.  Arts and crafts also developed and deities of different sorts were carved out by the artists under the name of different Gods and people worshiped them. The wise men of the times, to start with, had to prescribe those modes of worship that may, ultimately, take them to Yoga--the sure-shot of Realisation.  But, according to the laws  of Nature, devolution follows evolution and vice versa.  Their minds did not travel further to the real side with the result that the images became personified God.
