Critics are disguised Compliments, so get Inspired and do your best for Success in your life
After a long time I got a chance to share some thoughts with you. I had gone through some books this time again, I am learning a bit of knowledge every time from them. While reading about Lord Rama in Bhagavatham I was so inspired by the way Lord Rama treats his brothers. Rama is a good example for a son, brother, husband and for a great emperor as well.
There is an incident in Ramayana in which Rama was playing with his brothers and after the play was over Rama went to ‘Kaikeyi’ (his step mother) and told her that he was defeated by Bharatha (his brother) with a large smile on his face and happiness, but Bharatha complained that Rama was losing the game every time to make Bharatha happy and win the game.
The lesson we can learn from it is those who serves others will reap more. Giving is a joy in comparison to Receiving. This is a simple principle in life ‘the life lead for others (for other’s happiness) is more worthy and has a meaning for it.’
For a man to live without selfishness he should overcome the qualities like Krodha (Anger) and Matsarya (Jealousy).
One of my friends has sent a quote to me once which says, “Don’t ever be angry upon your friends, because up to the end of life what hurts us is not the words of enemies but the silence of our friends.”
Remember that for every 1 minute of anger you will lose 60 seconds of happiness. The words which we may utter in anger will spoil the beautiful relationships between us. Recollect the words of Mother Teresa, “Don’t expect your friend to be a perfect man, help him to become perfect.”
Critics are the disguised complements, it has a good meaning. We generally feel disturbed when someone criticizes us about our work which may fetch hatred towards that person. Many great people has their own weaknesses but they have succeeded because of their hard work. They have converted their weakness into their strengths with the help of patience and determination. When someone is criticizing us certainly there should be something that we should improve yet. Critics make you know the truth and help you in achieving your goal soon.
The best example we can have is Sachin Tendulkar, he’d faced a lot of criticism but he has never spoken a single word, just he accepted them all with a smile and worked hard to improve his game. Today he is the legend of cricket and even more called as God of Indian cricket and more over called as the master blaster in the cricket world apart from being acclaimed as the ‘The Greatest Batsman ever’.
We cannot achieve anything within a day or night, we need lot of patience and hard work. As told by Robin Sharma in his book the ‘Monk who sold his Ferrari’ goal should be specific. It should be clear and well defined. The fact is that everything in this universe is created twice in this world. One in the mind and the other in the physical world. Those who can see his outer world dreams and who see the inner world awakens. The set goal should be concrete in our mind too then it will make you achieve your goal.
I request you to please read any books related to personality development or of great personalities because they inspire you a lot and show you the way to achieve the self mastery. We need to work hard to achieve something but there should be some sort of inspiration for us, and that inspiration we can get through books only.
Success can be achieved by 1% inspiration and 99% Perspiration. But if we don’t get this 1% inspiration, we don’t even think big to set up our goals or commit for 99% perspiration. But if you have that 1% inspiration from these self-development books, you will automatically be empowered by your inner will for your 99% perspiration. All the best!
